Hon. Gomashie, a two-term Member of Parliament for the Ketu South Constituency, has an illustrious career promoting Ghanaian culture. Her tenure as Deputy Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts saw her champion Ghanaian arts and tourism through theatre and creative initiatives. A lifelong passion for theatre arts, coupled with her academic credentials—a Bachelor of Fine Arts (First Class) and an MPhil in African Studies from the University of Ghana—cements her reputation as a stalwart in the cultural sector. She also holds an Honorary Doctor of Leadership from the Global Center for Transformational Leadership.
