Black Stars head coach Otto Addo has unveiled his squad for Ghana’s upcoming 2026 World Cup qualifying matches.
The squad features familiar faces along with a few new additions. Among the locally-based players called up are Razak Simpson of Nations FC, Benjamin Asare of Hearts of Oak, and Kamaradini Mamudu of Medeama.
Arsenal’s Thomas Partey, who missed some of Ghana’s AFCON qualifiers due to injury, makes his return to the team. However, veteran forward André “Dede” Ayew has been left out despite being active at the club level.
The invited players are set to assemble on March 17 for a four-day training camp ahead of their first match against Chad in Accra on March 21. After that, the team will travel to Morocco for their second qualifier against Madagascar.
Ghana will be aiming for a strong start in their World Cup qualification campaign as they seek to secure a spot in the 2026 tournament.
